Botanical Wonder Plant
Fatshedera lizei
Fatshedera lizei is a genuine botanical oddity: a hybrid between two different genera (Fatsia and Hedera), which almost never happens in the plant world. You get the large, glossy five-lobed leaves of Japanese Aralia on a plant with the sprawling, climbing tendencies of English Ivy — resulting in something that can't quite decide if it's a shrub or a vine. It's completely sterile, so no seeds, ever.
